BOATING

With hundreds of miles of saltwater shoreline to wander and explore, living in Bay Creek is a boater’s dream come true. Whether you plan to captain a kayak, a deep draft sailboat, or a powerboat, there are three marinas and a boat ramp within walking distance or a short golf cart ride from your Bay Creek residence. At Bay Creek boating can be an accessible lifestyle, not an unfulfilled passion.

FISHING

No boat, No problem! Within the confines of Bay Creek itself, there are several freshwater lakes where largemouth bass are frequently caught & released. Nearly as accessible (short golf cart ride away) is the lighted 300′ Cape Charles town pier where many of the popular Chesapeake Bay species may be caught. The town’s saltwater recreational pier fishing license covers anyone fishing, so individual licenses are not necessary and it’s free! If the allure of snatching a monster-sized fish is more to your liking there are several charter operators, once again accessible via golf cart from your Bay Creek residence, that know where to catch them. FITNESS

Bay Creek amenities include 2 community swimming pools with lap lanes, tennis and pickle-ball courts, and miles of walking/running trails meandering through lush, meticulously maintained flora for the enjoyment of all residents and their guests.  The Life Center features 10,000 square feet of fun and fitness open to Bay Creek Members and Resort Guests. The 5,000 square-foot fitness center provides circuit and strength training areas featuring brand new state-of-the-art equipment, SKLZ Gold Flex golf training clubs, as well as NASM and ACE certified fitness instructors. Also located within the facility is a 2,800 square-foot members’ lounge, up-scale locker rooms for men and women, two outdoor swimming pools, one with lap lanes.

GOLF

Bay Creek has 27 intertwined Palmer and Nicklaus signature design holes that deliver a fabulous golf experience for member golfers and resort guests of all levels. With lavishly landscaped surroundings, sculpted sand bunkers, silky smooth greens, and beautiful waterfront holes sited along the Chesapeake Bay and Old Plantation Creek. This is some really great Virginia Eastern Shore golf, Bay Creek style!

Nature Preserve

Bay Creek’s spectacular 350-acre Nature Preserve enhances the authentic coastal living our community is known for, offering a place for activity and exploration among forests and shorelines. Some of the most scenic land within the community, this natural wonderland is now protected from future development and will serve as a permanent conservation area for Bay Creek owners.

A crucial part of our mission in responsibly creating this Nature Preserve was to make it accessible for residents and guests. The Nature Preserve is a haven for hiking, walking, canoeing, kayaking, and learning about the world around you. On foot or on the water, Bay Creek residents and guests have a beautiful natural world opened up for their enjoyment, and for the preservation of the Eastern Shore’s valuable habitat.
